Intro to Social Networking:

You know a lot of people hate to refer friends and family to their businesses, but if anything doesn't it make sense your friends and family would support you IF it was beneficial for them as well. However I acknowlege this fact and understand though we should want to share our asperations, missions, crusades & businesses with our friends & family we should never feel we HAVE TO or are dependent on them.  NEVER.
Here goes one really effective alternate way to build your network.  Social Networking.
I like this because a lot of people think of MP and networking as if it is trying to sell something to your friends... and it's not, not for money anyways.  You're selling an idea that is beneficial for all and doesn't cost anything. But many need an alternate method or an additional method, here it goes:
MightyPeople is on the Ning Platform.  So I love using NING sites.  There are also probably thousands of other Social Sites using the Ning Platform.  But many are using it wrong.  I believe it is actually a Gold Mine, if you use it right.  But a waste if you don't know what to do.  With out getting into all the details of why we do what we do for now, let me tell you what we do.

Mass Inviting  Vs  Personal Inviting 

Mass Inviting I believe can serve a purpose.  But it can be deadly to your success if you over do it. Every now and then you can send a Mass Invite but I think you should limit it.  Most people just see it and throw it out anyway.  Because there is far too much of it going on.  You wanna stand out as different.  PLUS you want to use methods that works. Make friends and invite your friends into your network/business.  It is the much more effective way to do things.

Set a social networking goal for yourself.  Some suggested numbers:
  1. 20 New friend invites
  2. 40 Networking Contacts - small short, getting to know you questions or whatever naturally comes up. Find out their hot buttons in the process.  What motivates them.  You can use that later on to know what their needs are and help them to meet them through our networking efforts.
  3. 10 New MP Invites
  4. 10 New PMG Invites
Per day, per week or per month ... Whatever works for you.  It's the persistency & consistency that is important and wins at the end of the day.
