We are people, of the Mighty
Mighty people of the Soul...E,W & F
Welcome
Brothers and Sisters,
Mothers, Dads,
Daughters and Sons of Rhythm.
I have deliberately tried to keep this issue more
focused and to the point, as I will in the future and
will use links to the website to give more details for
those that want more. I don't want to repel those
either too busy or uninterested in reading too much.
Eventually I'll have intro paragraphs in the
newsletter with links to the complete topic on the
website.
In today's issue:
WHERE TO FIND THE "WHAT IS THE WB-NWA" INFO
THE FIRST 3 STEPS
PROJECTS
NEWS
WHERE TO FIND THE "WHAT IS THE WB-NWA" INFO:
I know it's very important to you to understand, why
the WB-NWA, the concept and our mission, what it can
do and what you can do. So I will constantly be trying
to make that clear and expand on it and also want to
make this kind of info easily accessible to all.
Here's how:
1. Send in your specific questions for me to answer.
2. Call me or answer the phone when I call you :-)
If you don't have my number write me and ask or I have
my contact info listed on the website and at the
bottom of this newsletter, though most of you at this
point probably have it anyways.
3. Review the first issue of this newsletter (soon
there will be an archive online and it will also be
worked into an e-mail series that you can resend to
yourself at anytime.
4. Visit our website. www.pro-mo-tions.com/wbnwa
***Read the mission statement, on the main page (I
will be posting the full version soon also).
***Read the potential news release on "The WBNWA opens
it's website".
***Keep your eye out, I'll post more articles about
the concept of the WBNWA and my vision as well as our
collective vision.
But as for this issue, let's just remember The WB-NWA
is based on the 4 founding principles of Value, Needs,
Sharing and exponential growth, as pointed out in the
last issue and let's proceed from there.
THE FIRST FEW STEPS:
1. Join the newsletter, which of course you've already
done. But for everyone else this will be an easy,
non-committal, way to start. And we can get a lot of
info out to them. I want to grow the mailing list,
there is a lot we can do with the newsletter.
2. Determining and specifying your level of interest.
This is not going to be for all black folk as much as
I would like. Bad attitudes, negativity and blatant
selfishness we cannot accept at the expense of others.
Some won't understand, some won't agree, some won't
believe. However, aside from that most of us can find
a level of participation that they are comfortable.
It's designed for everyone to be able to participate
at their own level of interest.
3. Fill out the survey to uncover your needs and your
value's. What value's you're able and willing to
share and what are your needs that you'd like to have
fulfilled.
You will hear more about these in upcoming issues and
online. I will be soon releasing interactive forms on
the website:
To select your level of interest
To list your value and needs...
right online. Look for more on these steps in the
near future or call me now.
PROJECTS:
I think the next thing to cover and help you
understand is "Projects".
I have many ideas already of what can be accomplished
by networking and working together but the thing that
excites me the most is the many more ideas that will
come up.
An interviewer once asked Prince (yes, the artist
currently known as Prince), do you ever worry about
getting writers block? His answer was very profound.
He said something to the effect of, No, I don't worry
about writers block, that's never been a concern of
mine, I just worry about being able to keep up with
all the thoughts & ideas for songs that come into my
head and get them recorded as they come up.
Well that's what I feel with the WB-NWA, there are so,
so, so many things that can be done I just dream that
we would be able to keep up with them and bring them
into reality.
The ideas that I have and the ones that come up will
be categorized as "Projects". There are a few listed
on the website, check 'em out.
The ones listed are:
***The D.E.B.T. initiative
***The WB-NWA Holiday Caroling Chorus
***Network Offerings:
2 of these are very big and central to what I'd like
to do with the WB-NWA. So we'll be spending some time
on them in the future, they are:
***The D.E.B.T. initiative
***Network offerings
The DEBT initiative is: a fund raising initiative for
black economic success.
Raising money to invest in businesses, programs,
scholarships...anything that can help further black
economic improvement.
Network offerings is: a very new twist on Network
Marketing. A way to live and support each others
success with our own dollars, develop multiple streams
of income through diversification and also rewarding
WB-NWA members for helping us to grow by bringing in
new members.
Here go a few other potential ideas for projects:
***Babysitting Coordination:
***Transportation Coordination
***Mastermind Groups/Think Tanks
***The Menu's got Soul
Many more ideas to come. So come on, bring 'em on.
NEWS: as of 9-06-04
***Home computer problems have delayed updates to the
WB-NWA Home Page. But I expect to make updates soon.
***I am adjusting my focus temporarily. I will not be
actively looking for new participants in the WB-NWA.
I want to focus my attention on the group that has
shown some interest already from whom I've already
spoken with and bring them up to pace with what I'm
doing, how and when and find out what their level of
interest or no interest really is. I'm hoping I can
found the central core of the WBNWA from this group.
And then we can go on from there. However if you or
anyone you know is interested and would like to be a
part of that core group, they may call or write and we
will consider. It has not been cut off, I just won't
be focusing on talking to new people about this. This
is again to allow time to organize and progress so
that we may then continue to grow.
Thank you for da Luv, da Spunk & da Funk
