I
get happy around this time of year. It's just great to see the world focus on
African Americans. Yes there should be a much better year round focus, but I
still enjoy this time. It is a great time to for a GRAND Reopening of The
WBNWA and The Mightypeople Newsletter. I have been thinking and working on
some ideas and getting focused so here we are:

So let's start with 1:
So my first job:
Don't just celebrate,
participate!
The WBNWA is
back!
...and simplified...focused on foundamental... and
I'm determined to stay that way until we make
heqadway
and start getting some very exciting things happening. I keep you posted here
and online
and
the blogs:

Here it goes, might sound
familiar but this is the foundation and you can't
have a building (or build)
without a foundation can you... ? ...and we
really need to stick to it until
we get it done... and then the sky is the
limit.
So
you'll here about these over and over for awhile but I'll try to change my
approach to look at it in new and different ways. So we could really understand
it and do it!
The Fundamental 4 step
1. Needs
2.
Value
3. Share
4. Exponential Growth (Growth of what? People
doing the above 3 things)
...and...
How to make
money: One major need seems to often: How to make
money.
There you go... it's as simple as that.
Can
we do that?
Should
we do that?
Of
course but we'll continue to discuss that.
So
let's just do it!
Let's
focus on those 5 simple thing and just see what we could get going. We could
expand from there to doing soooo much more.... so many ideas. Projects,
community involvement, teaching, mentoring,... just to name a few but I won't be
tempted we'll get into them soon enough.
Everything
we do will go back to one of those 5
things, #5 being really just one of many
advantages of applying 1-4. I have
so many things I wanna do but I'm gonna
take a step back so we could start
making progress and continually improve
and grow and know why we are having the success that we are having and could
continue the growth because it will be easy to teach since it will be sooo
simple and duplicatable. That would be so much better than all these glorious
ideas that overwhelm and paralize us into inaction and procrastination which I
am too guilty of. We will discuss those things because they are our future but
we will start out and focus only on the above 5 topics.
4 Step, one more time
1.
Needs: Do you have needs/wants? What are they?
2.
Value: What is your value? What can you contribute to help
others?
3. Share: Share and match value to needs. If you
expect help, you must be
willing to share. This applies to everyone. If
everyone is willing to
share it would be no problem to get help would it? We
will be able to match
our needs with those that have the value/talents to
help fill them.
4. Exponential Growth:
Share this
networking concept with others and experience dramatic growth and opportunities
to network and expand your networking web/reach.
Snowballing
growth is awesome and produces results in everyway.
Thought for careful consideration (Soul Food For Thought):
Exponential Growth
If
you could choose your wage for a month (Let's say 31 days)
And I offered
you $100,000
or
a
penny doubled everyday for 31 days (Careful! The key is the doubling) ...
.01, .02, .04,.08, .16, .32 ...
Which
one would you choose?
How about a $200,000 or a penny doubled?
$300,000?
...
ok
How about a million?
...
Which one would you choose? You know it's
trick question right? But where's your breaking point that you would say OK
I'll take the lump some money?
... if you choose anything other than the
penny doubled you lost millions.
A penny doubled for 31 days is 21
mill.
Any idea what 62 days would be? (Hint: 8 days in would be over 20
trillion
:-) )
Woooo! There is power in growth, duplication,
multiplication, compounding,
persistency and consistency...EXPONENTIAL
GROWTH. The principle applies to money and people
alike or anything
else.
So my first
job:

the reopening and grand undertaking IS:
1.
To find out what your needs are and start to work to help find
matching
values/solutions.
2. Also to know what my needs
and values are.
3. To start to build this network at a
feverish pace, weave these needs and
values to make some happy black
faces!!!
